DESCRIPTION:
Visnor (Tiemonium Methylsulphate) is a synthetic anticholinergic-antispasmodic drug.
COMPOSITION:
Visnor Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Tiemonium Methylsulphate INN 50 mg.
Visnor Injection: Each 2 ml ampoule contains Tiemonium Methylsulphate INN 5 mg .
INDICATION:
Visnor is an antispasmodic drug. It reduces muscle spasms of the intestine, biliary system, urinary bladder and uterus. Visnor is indicated for pain in gastrointestinal and biliary diseases and in urological and gynaecological diseases such as gastroenteritis, diarrhoea, dysentery, biliary colic, enterocolitis, cholecystitis, colonopathies, mild cystitis and spasmodic dysmenorrhoea.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Visnor Tablet: In adults the usual dosage of Visnor is 2 to 6 tablets (100-300 mg) daily in divided doses as required. Visnor Injection: Recommended injectable dose is one or two Visnor Injections three times daily, through intravenous route slowly or intramuscular route.
CONTRAINDICATION:
Tiemonium methylsulphate should not be used in glucoma or where acute pain of eyeball with vision disturbance was found. Also this drug should not be used in patients with the disorder of prostate or urinary bladder.
PRECAUTION:
Precautions should be exercised for treatment of patients with disorders of the prostate, serious diseases of the kidney or liver, cardiac disorders, thyroid disorders, chronic bronchitis and certain gastrointestinal diseases. The risks of visual disturbances can make it dangerous to drive or use machines.
SIDE EFFECT:
Side effect with the use of Tiemonium Methylsulphate is very rare.
DRUG INTERACTION:
Tiemonium Methylsulphate should not be used with other drugs without prior consult of a registered physician to avoid possible drug interaction.
USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION:
The use of this drug is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation, unless otherwise indicated by registered Physician.

Tablet: Store in cool & dry place, keep away from light and moisture.
Injection: Store in dry place, below 30^o C, keep away from light and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of children.
