Acorex (Ambroxol) is used in conditions where there are a lot of thick secretion or mucus in air passage like •Productive cough •Acute and chronic inflammatory disorders of respiratory tracts associated with viscid mucus including acute and chronic bronchitis. •Inflammatory diseases of rhinopharyngeal tract (e.g. laryngitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis and rhinitis) associated with viscid mucus. •Asthmatic bronchitis, asthma with thick expectoration •Bronchiectasis •Chronic pneumonia

Acorex (Ambroxol) should be taken after meal. Dosage should be individualized,depending on patient's condition and response. The usual recommended doses are Adults & Children over 10 years:30 mg (1 Acorex tablet /10 ml Acorex Syrup) 3 times a day Children : Under 2 years of age:7.5 mg (2.5 ml Acorex Syrup) 2 times a day or as recommended by Physician 2-5 years of age:7.5 mg (2.5 ml Acorex Syrup) 2-3 times a day 5-10 years of age:15 mg (5 ml Acorex Syrup) 2-3 times a day
